MADISON, Wis. (AP) Vladislav Goldin finished his performance at a career-high level with 24 points, including three consecutive baskets late in the game, and Michigan beat No. 11 Wisconsin 67-64 on Tuesday night at the Big Ten season opener for both teams.
It crowned its victory to maintain sixth straight win against Wisconsin 68-1 which suffered.
Goldin, a graduate student in Michigan’s 7-foot-1 degree, scored 17 points in the second half, which was a two-point lead taken by him with 1:35 remaining.
For Michigan, Wolf replicated 20 points, seven rebounds, five assists, five blocks and three steals. Wisconsin has John Tonje 18 and Blackwell 16.
